Local Author

Creating Novels:
How My Fiction Happens
Presented by author Anne G. Faigen

Local author Anne G. Faigen will describe the genesis of her novels which include adult mysteries and historical fiction for young adults.  Her books include New World Waiting which is set in Pittsburgh's Hill District in the 19th century and usually resonates for Pittsburgh adults because of their own families' immigrant history, the mystery of Frame Work which is set in Prague and involves Nazi art pillaging and Out of Turns, set in Taiwan, that evolved from her own experiences there.  Anne is a former high school and college instructor and recently finished a class in the plays of Arthur Miller as part of Pitt's lifelong learning program.
